Attendance zone

Zones are set by the district and do not follow city limits. Check any address with the district’s school locator, which shows the 2026-27 elementary, middle and high school zones. In our neighborhoods guide, which matched city address data to the zone map, Austin’s zone covers about 14% of Dunwoody addresses, including 60% of those in the area north of Mount Vernon Road (Jett Ferry and Dunwoody Club Drive) and 15% of Perimeter.

Dunwoody High School lists Austin Elementary as one of its six feeder elementary schools, with Peachtree Middle as the middle school, on its feeder schools page. Students go on to Peachtree Middle and then Dunwoody High. We found no rezoning approved by the Board of Education that changes Austin Elementary’s zone for 2026-27.
