Valentine’s Day 2027 falls on a Sunday, Feb. 14. For DeKalb County families it starts a long break: Monday, Feb. 15, is Presidents’ Day and February Break runs Feb. 16-19, according to the school district’s 2026-27 calendar (PDF). Most venues post their Valentine’s plans in January.

These organizers held Valentine’s events in 2026. Their 2027 dates had not been posted when we checked; we will update this page when they are.

  • Galentine’s Day Paint and Sip, Dunwoody Nature Center. On Sat. Feb. 14, 2026, 2 to 3 p.m., guests learned acrylic pour painting on two 10-by-10-inch canvases, with materials included, for $50, according to the Nature Center’s 2026 event page. The center is at 5343 Roberts Drive.
  • Weave a Heart for Your Valentine, Dunwoody Library. A beginner class making a heart-shaped woven basket ran Fri. Feb. 13, 2026, 2 to 3:30 p.m., with supplies provided, per the library’s 2026 listing. Watch the library’s events calendar for 2027.
  • Vino Venue sells a Valentine’s edition of its Beyond Brunch cooking and wine class; the 2027 date is on its class page once scheduled.
